Naomi Broady is through to the quarter-finals of the women's singles in Egypt. The third seed played Clothilde de Bernardi of France for a place in the final eight winning in three sets 1-6, 6-1, 6-4. Broady now plays fifth seed Melis Sezer of Turkey.
Meanwhile in the doubles, Broady and partner Ana Veselinovic of Serbia are through to the semi-finals playing Alexandra Artamonova (RUS) & Darya Lebesheva (BLR) next.
