Play tennis, have fun, save lives!

Save the Children is calling on tennis clubs, schools and individuals all over the UK to run their own tennis tournament and raise money to help the world’s most vulnerable children. Since 1985, the Save the Children Tennis Tournament has seen 50,000 players taking part and has raised over £2.5 million.

We need 70 clubs and schools to sign up this year to match last year’s participation. Would you be able to help us reach new players in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire?

The Save the Children Tennis Tournament is a great way of encouraging players of all ages and abilities onto court while raising money for children. It’s easy to get involved – tournaments can be held at any time of year, in any format, and can be large or small, purely social of highly competitive. And in September and October, eligible tournament winners will be invited to take part in the Tennis Cup, which culminates in the Festival of Tennis at the National Tennis Centre, Roehampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for non-elite tennis enthusiasts to play in a world-class venue.

The LTA has provided invaluable support for the Save the Children Tennis Tournament over the years and we would be most grateful if you could help further by promoting the Tournament in your area.

If you have any questions or require hard copy flyers, please get in touch directly with me or with the Save the Children Community Support Team at tennis@savethechildren.org.uk or on 020 7012 6997.
