Jersey Players Prepare For Jeux Des Iles

Four of Jersey's top junior tennis players will be taking part in next week's Jeux Des Iles competition next week in Palermo, Sicily.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The four players, Simon Johnson (aged 14), Stuart Parker (aged 13), Eva Hurst (aged 13) and Abbie Weaver (aged 13) will travel with other sports teams from Jersey, including swimming, table tennis and athletics as they compete against other countries in Palermo, Sicily.

The tennis competition has a high profile history, with current world number one, Rafael Nadal, a former competitior and all four players will be hoping for a successful week away.

In total 29 athletes will travel to the competition which lasts for one week and is being sponsored by Altis Partners.
