This year's Junior County Closed Championships started and ended with some exciting finals. On Saturday 24th August it was the mini tennis players' day with 10 & Under and 8 & Under events in the morning and 9 & Under in the afternoon. An action packed day saw new champions crowned.

In the closing speeches, David Vinall thanked the South Devon Tennis Centre for hosting the tournament and referee Bill Ahl praised the players for their exemplary behaviour during the week.
