As no doubt you are aware following Great Britain's Davis Cup triumph last year the LTA has sent the Trophy on a tour of the nation and during the course of the year it will visit every county.
Here in Devon the venue chosen for the Trophy visit is the Atlantic Racquet Centre, Bideford, North Devon; the County’s new £2.6 million tennis centre.
The Trophy visit will be a full day event which gives members of the public, tennis players and fans and local school children the chance to come and have their photo taken with the Trophy but also to come and try a whole range of tennis activities for the day completely free of charge. The event will include a live music stage, food stalls and free taster sessions and stands from other local community sports clubs.
The Trophy unveiling ceremony itself will be at 12.30pm but various activities will take place all day from 10am to 6pm.
