Running from 16th July 2011 to 18th December 2011, the Powder Byrne Tennis Trophy is a Grade 3 LTA approved tournament and features Junior Boys and Girls Singles events for: 8&U (Red Ball), 9&U (Orange Ball), 12&U, 14&U, 16&U, and 18&U. Men’s and Ladies Open Singles, Mixed Open Doubles events are also included, as well as the opportunity to play as a Father and Son, Father and Daughter, Mother and Son or Mother and Daughter combination, in one of the Family Doubles events.
The unique postal format of the tournament means that early matches tend to be played locally and any club, school, public or park tennis courts can be used.
