In April BLTC merged with St Wilfrid's RC College to develop a satellite with funding from Sport England through Tyne and Wear Sport. BLTC Performance Coach Sean Cove currently delivers the sessions at the school every Tuesday 15:30 till 17:30. The session have been well attended with up to 28 players a session getting involved.
On Tuesday 2nd June the Road to Wimbledon Pre Qualifying event for BLTC took place seeing 15 entries. Well done to all the players who participated there was some fantastic matches.
Congratulations to Matthew, Callum. Nick and Andrew who qualified through to Road to Wimbledon Main Draw and Konner and Ben as the two Lucky Losers.
The players will attend the Road to Wimbledon Main Draw at BLTC on Monday 8th June 16:30 till 18:30 with 6 other BLTC players to play it out for a place in the Regional Finals. We welcome friends, families, members of BLTC and the local community to come down and watch the matches.
