Well done Wendy for getting more people at the VI event we had a total of 9 players this year.
2 Orange courts and 1 Red court were set up.
The VI Orange event had 7 players in it all played each other sets to 4 sudden death deuce.
The VI red event had 2 players (totally blind) and 2 from the other event put on blindfolds to make a group of 4.
The players did exceptionally well as the conditions were blustery.
All enjoyed, all exhausted having played 6 matches each, and then they all finished the day off with tea and cakes.
The event couldn’t have been run without John Schofield (chief coach and guide), Anne Clayton
and 2 of the clubs young ladies Charlotte and Faye,(pic of them enjoying themselves) who both said they had thoroughly enjoyed and learnt a lot.
