This year the 12U Girls hire & IOW were in Group C at North Oxford Tennis Club, Banbury Road, Oxford over the weekend of Saturday 1st - Sunday 2nd July 2017
The players were: 1. Martyna Ciubatiuk, 2. Sienna Boyce, 3. Kirsty Da Silva, 4. Ivana Maynard

Match 1 v Oxford
With Martyna and Kirsty winning easily and then Sienna coming through to win 10-7 in a match tiebreak, we had a brilliant start to County Cup 2017. Kirsty and Ivana played the doubles and enjoyed a battle despite the scoreline.
Straight onto Match 2 v Hertfordshire
This opposition proved to be the best in our group and there was no stopping them - our best efforts were not good enough to take more than a game in any set across the board in singles, although Martyna and Sienna picked up a few more in the doubles when they stayed at the net. So good luck to Hertfordshire at National Finals.
Day 2 Match 1 v Berkshire
Both Kirsty and Martyna took their player to a match tiebreak but unfortunately couldn't pick up the win. Ivana got to play again with Kirsty and again had a good match.
Match 2 v Buckinghamshire
Sienna had a cracking win to keep us in the tie after the singles, but we couldn't quite match their confident net play in the doubles to force a penalty shoot-out, so Berkshire took the tie.
So a long weekend, with lots of fun, parents and tennis, Hampshire and IOW 12&U girls fought till the last point played and came away with a good win v Oxfordshire. Well played girls.
