David Rice, currently ranked British number 10 from Croxley Green will be flying the flag for British Tennis at the AEGON Pro-Series $10K event in Bournemouth next week, part of the ITF pro circuit.

The 21-year-old tennis star will compete in the international tennis tournament which attracts players from all over the world.

Rice joins a group of talented British juniors competing at the AEGON Pro-Series at Bournemouth which runs from 27th April to 2nd May.

The AEGON Pro-Series events feature many of the world’s up and coming players and they offer the first step on the professional ladder, with a large number of players progressing to compete on the main ATP and WTA Tours. It is also a breeding ground for Britain’s best young players, including Team AEGON and AEGON FutureStars, to learn their trade against strong and often experienced international opposition.

Entry is based on ranking and Rice has earned his place at the event following a successful season on the court.
