Hertfordshire's young tennis star, Emily Arbuthnott claimed the Aegon Winter National Tour 18U titles after straight sets wins over the weekend against fellow Hertfordshire player Jennifer Brown.
The final was a close battle with Emil Arbuthnott defeating Jennifer Brown 7-5, 6-2.
Speaking after her win Arbuthnott said: It’s amazing, I was seeded first coming into the tournament but I never expected to get to the final and win so I’m over the moon about that.” Emily who is 15 years of age is currently ranked no.1 in the country in the 16&U age group and no.3 in the 18&U.
