The 12&U Chiltern League runs from September each year through to the following March and last winter saw 14 teams from around the county compete in two leagues of 7. Each team consists of 2 boys and 2 girls who all play one singles and one doubles match.
After all of the group matches had been completed, the semi-final line up was Harpenden v St. Albans 'Boomerangs' and Legends v Langley Tennis Club. Harpenden beat St. Albans 5-1 and Langley won their match against Legends 4-2.
The final took place on Sunday 17th June, indoors at Gosling Sports Park and Langley came out as the winners by 5 rubbers to 1. The winning Langley team consisted of Matthew Carroll, Tom Watts, Sam Walker, Jasmine Dedakia and Georgina Shelley.
