It was a busy weekend, but very enjoyable. The overall standard of play on finals day was a credit to all the clubs and coaches throughout the County. Parents and spectators were commenting on the technical ability of the players and above all the behaviour of each and every one of the players was excellent.

Prior to the finals day 1200 matches were played, 390 players competed and 76 teams entered. The parents of the players organised the majority of the teams and should be thanked for their dedication and enthusiasm throughout the winter. The play by dates were a great help to everyone and despite the ‘winter snow’ these were adhered to.
The three winning teams have been invited to the Herts Junior Awards Night on 1st April at Harpenden Tennis Club, from 6.00pm, where everyone will forget about the tennis and enjoy the pizzas and have fun.
Well done everyone!
