The Herts boys and girls teams did very well, coming2nd in the Inter-County Team Event on 27th February at Odyssey Tennis Club, Knebworth.
There were 8 counties taking part, who were Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire.
Each player competed against their opposite number in each of the other teams, playing seven matches in all. This was a timed tennis event and each match lasted 10 minutes.
The final placements were decided on the total points won. The 3 first places received medals.
Herts players represented the county with Great Spirit scoring 650 points (girls) and 625 points (boys).
