Whilst our 10-12&U players were doing battle at Queenswood in The Lionel Cox Trophy, which they won, the 14&U county teams were spread out acroos the country during the May Day Bank Holiday weekend representing Herts in the LTA 14&U County Cup.
The boys were competing in Boston, Lincolnshire under the captaincy of Steve Shea and came home undefeated from Group 3B. Next year they will be in Group 2. Our girls, along with Teresa Lilley and Jose Singer, were many miles away, playing in Exeter in Group 3A of the competition. After a loss of 2-4 to Devon, a 3-3 draw with Avon and a 6-0 win against South Wales, they finished 2nd and will remain in this division for 2011.
