15 year old Josh Rose (Junior Herts Player) gained his first ITF junior world ranking points in the Grade 4 Mauritius Open last week with a superb main draw first round win over a 17 year old South African player.
In the second round Josh drew seed 1 and a world ranked 240 Japanese player and after leading 4 2 in the first set went down 4 6 3 6 with 4 rain delays and in very windy conditions. Josh now has a global ranking of 1545 in the ITF 18 and under agree group and will next compete in the ITF Lativan and Denmark Opens in October and the Nike Junior ITF International in November in Liverpool
