Reminders – yet again – for entries to the Albany/Equiom Open Junior Tournament - which is being held over two weekends – 12th-14th and 19th/20th October. Age groups are 8, 9, 10, 12,14 and 18&U Singles plus 14 & 18U Doubles. We need entries in early so that t-shirts can be ordered in the right size! Each competitor will receive a 2018 Equiom t-shirt. Entries close on Tuesday 9th October at 6pm. Entry fees (£5 Singles and £3 each Doubles) and forms can be put in the club’s white post box, e-mailed to ianwatsonpts@manx.net, or left in the office. Please help the organisers by entering early.
President’s Day – Senior/Junior tournament is on Sunday 7th October and names can be added to the list in the clubroom. This is a yellow ball event and we are looking for at least three seniors to even up with the Juniors. Entry fee – Seniors £3, Juniors £2, pay on the day. We have three Juniors travelling to UK tournaments this weekend with 7 yr. old Magnus Benson playing in Bolton. Jack Christian (14) will be playing a ratings tournament in Liverpool Tennis Centre and Charlotte Clarke (13) is playing 16&under at Nottingham Trent University. We wish them good luck and hope they all enjoy the experience.
