Kent Primary Schools Competitions 2014 kicked off on Wednesday 14th May at The Bromley Tennis Centre when 19 mini red teams from a number of different schools around the county arrived ready to compete. On Tuesday 20th & Friday 23rd May the orange and green players went along to Bromley High School to compete for the Orange & Green titles.
Throughout the days the standard of the tennis being played was brilliant. This is a great opportunity for primary schools to enter teams of 4 to play both singles and doubles matches.
Congratulations to all winners:

Doubles Championships 2014
A new format was introduced this year to encourage more schools around the county to enter the Annual Doubles Championship. The competition started on Tuesday 2nd June with two qualifying events, one being held at Polo Farm, Canterbury and one in Bromley Tennis Centre on 4th June. With an entry of 135 pairs we needed to get down to a maximum of 8 in each event, so the competition was fierce.
On Friday 27th June the 50 pairs of boys & girls who qualified arrived at Bromley Tennis Centre for the Finals of the Kent Primary Schools Doubles Championships 2014.
Throughout the morning there were many close matches and some fantastic tennis being played. The players all thoroughly enjoyed themselves playing both indoors and also outside in the lovely sunshine.
Congratulations to all winners:
