Sundridge Park already has a thriving coaching program lead by Richard Whichello, Director of WAM Tennis (ex GB Davis Cup and No 1 British junior at all ages).
WAM Tennis is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic coach to join the current coaching team.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast growing and successful program and develop yourself by being mentored by one of Kent’s best past players.
Sundridge Park has been a major force in Kent tennis for just over a century. The Club is set in 6 acres of beautiful grounds with 19 tennis courts (8 grass, 4 artificial clay and 7 tarmac) of which 8 are floodlit.
Job Specification
- LTA Level 4 (CCA) or 3 (DCA) – exceptional level 2 coaches will be considered.
- LTA licensed/registered
- Current CRB check
- Reliable, punctual, professional and enthusiastic approach
- First Aid qualified (up to date)
- Experience of coaching juniors and adults in both individual and group settings
- Highly motivated and excellent communication skills
- To be able to work as part of a team
- Be prepared to deliver curriculum tennis within schools, take after school sessions and to work at evenings and weekends as required.
- Hold a current UK driver’s license and own transport is key as at times you will need to travel between some venues (schools etc with equipment).
