Tuesday at AEGON GB Pro-Series Loughborough gave the British crowd something to cheer about, with locals Scott Whitbread and Connor Glennon progressing in the doubles draw as they beat second seeds Frank Moser & Andre Begemann 6-2, 6-1 in a superb performance.
Loughborough University head coach Jon Pankhurst said: "It was the best I have ever seen them play."
On Wednesday the duo then went onto win against the Italian duo Marco Crugnola & Fabio Colangelo 6-1, 6-2
The pair will now meet Sam Barry and Daniel Glancy of Ireland tonight in the semi final which is due to start after 6pm and admission is free to spectators.
