Uppingham teenager Ana Webber was recently presented with her medal for becoming the 2011 U14 County Leaderboard winner for Leicestershire.
Roger Draper, chief executive of the Lawn Tennis Association presented the 13-year-old with her award at the annual Leicestershire Junior Tennis presentation ceremony, held at Leicester Grammar school earlier this month.
Ana gained more points than any other girl competing in the Leicestershire association’s U14 tournaments during the summer.
Ana, who plays seniors tennis at Oakham Tennis Club, started at the full time tennis academy based at Loughborough University in September. She also won Oakham’s ladies singles title in September and still finds time to play for Oadby Granville Juniors.
