The LTA is delighted to announce that Andy Barnes has been appointed as the new Talent Performance Manager (TPM) for the Midlands, following on from Tim Pyatt's move to his new role as LTA Performance Network Programmes Manager.
Andy will be responsible for the management of identified talented 10 – 12 year old players at both High Performance Centres, Performance Centres and in competition. He will also be responsible for the organisation of regional Talent ID Camps, and will manage the Midlands team of Talent & Performance Coordinators (TPCs).
Andy brings many great attributes to the role, and will tackle his new position with a high level of passion, commitment and professionalism. He also brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, which he has developed whilst previously working within the Midlands Talent Team as a TPC for Warwickshire & Nottinghamshire. Within this role Andy also took on national and international responsibilities as the 10U age group captain for girls, which he will continue to fulfil in his new role as TPM.
