I am pleased to report that the Men's County 45 Team enjoyed success over the 2011 season and were eventual runners up of Division 1A, narrowly losing to the eventual national winners.
The team consisted of the following players: Steve Brett, Tim Davis, Jon Ison, Steve Stroud, Geoff Wayman and Richard Wayman.
The results were:
V Notts(Home) Won 5-0
V Yorkshire(Away)Won 5-0
V Surrey(Away) Won 5-0
V Warwickshire(Away) Won 3-2
V Middlesex (Home) Lost 2-3
I would like to thank all of the players for their gallant efforts throughout the year. I would also like to thank Leicestershire Lawn Tennis Club for hosting our home matches.
