Not only did the courts at Boston Tennis Club bask in glorious sunshine on one of the hottest days for a long time but also the courts were alive with the "electricity" of enthusiasm for tennis.
Over 80 newcomers to Boston Tennis Club, ranging in age from 3 years old to adults, inspired by Andy Murray and a fantastic Wimbledon, took to the courts and had a great time.
Over half of these players took the plunge and joined Boston Tennis Club, keen to continue playing tennis during this summer of motivational sporting achievement!!
If this is the prospect for the future Andy Murray will indeed have achieved both his Wimbledon dream and the dream of a tennis legacy.
