Inspired Facilities Funding Does your club need to improve or refurbish sports clubs or transform non-sporting venues into modern grassroots sport facilities?This facilities funding workshop is designed to guide candidates through the Inspired Facilities funding process by identifiying eligible projects, the components that make up a strong application as well as steps to put in place to improve an application. 28th Jan/ Moulton Magpies FC /6.30-9.30pm/ FREE
First Aid Sporting Injuries A shorter basic first aid workshop specifically covering sporting injuries suitable for coaches and volunteers. On completion candidates receive a certificate of attendance. N.B: If you a working towards a coaching qualification please consult with your National Governing Body of Sport to ensure which First Aid Course workshop is most suitable. 31st Jan/Wellingborough/ 6.30pm-9.30pm/£25
Emergency First Aid at Work A HSE approved First Aid qualification for coaches and designated first aiders. The course has been designed to include sport-specific incidents and on completion, candidates will receive a 3 year Emergency First Aid at Work qualification. The course takes place over 2 evenings so candidates must be able to attend both evenings sessions N.B: If you a working towards a coaching qualification please consult with your National Governing Body of Sport to ensure which First Aid Course workshop is most suitable. 20th & 27th Feb/ Rushden/ 6.30pm-9.30pm / £60
Coach Masterclass A series of four coaching master classes for coaches across Northants: Coaching for competence 30th Jan , Developing Coach-ability 27th Feb, Psychology of Game-intelligence 27th March, Developing Peak Performers 24th April . Safeguarding and Protecting Children This workshop will raise your awareness of the telltale signs of abuse and poor practice, and give you the tools you need to deal with any issues sensitively, appropriately and effectively should the need ever arise in your coaching career. 28th March/ Wellingborough/ 6.30-9.30pm/ £30
