Following on from the success of their Great British Tennis Weekend in May Frome Selwood Tennis Club are holding a similar free event this Sunday July 17 between 10am and 4pm. This time there will also be a chance to try out the three new Pay and Play tennis courts in the Mary Baily playing fields.
Refreshments will be available throughout the day, including strawberries and cream, with a BBQ from 12 am to 2 pm.
‘Tennis is a really sociable sport and we hope that visitors bring their family and friends too.’ said Geoff Smith, Club Marketing Manager. ‘Our Great British Tennis events are really good fun. Whether you are a beginner, a tennis returner or a keen tennis player, all levels and all ages are welcome and if you don’t have a tennis racquet, don’t worry, the club can provide these on the day. If you are supporting the Frome Half Marathon, why not make a day of it and come along to the club afterwards.’
