James Chaventré completed his 24 hour Tennis Marathon at Frome Selwood Tennis Club on Sunday 25th March. He won 259 games and never dropped a set - opponents won just 62 games.
James organised the whole event himself making arrangements with the local council and neighbours of the club for the lights to be used throughout the night.
Special thanks to parents Tony and Carol Chaventre in their support behind the scenes and those from within the club who turned out all times of the night and day to play him and support him at the end. James has raised about £1200. The Club chairman stated "we are proud of James and his achievements".
