Tennis Surrey is the organisation responsible for the administration and development of tennis throughout the County, from those just thinking of taking up the game to tournament players of all levels. We work closely with the LTA in attracting new players of all ages, supporting clubs, schools and other places to play as well as developing coaching schemes and competitive play at club and county level.
We are looking to employ a Coordinator, based at the National Tennis Centre, to undertake a varied role responsible for the following areas of work, among others -
- LTA registration – identification and registration of new places to play
- County Cups – team administration support, communications and captain support, working closely with the Performance Group and Age Group Managers in the case of the Junior County Cup
- Communicate with LTA Regional Tennis Services Assistant and send out regular e-newsletters and use social media to communicate with the tennis community in Surrey to raise the profile of tennis in Surrey and create opportunities to get more people playing tennis more often
- County Leagues and Competitions – assist with the county leagues as required
- Communicate with members of the Surrey Council
