This exciting opportunity exists for the right person who is enthusiastic and motivated to make a difference for tennis at Lordswood Community Tennis Club.
The role of the successful candidate will be to set up a club and ensure that there are opportunities for players to play, compete & and learn at their own level and to recruit and retain members at this new 5 court [3 floodlit ] venue.
We are looking for someone to lead a progressive tennis coaching and club development programme. This will include; developing competitions and tournaments for all ages and abilities, setting up and supporting a volunteer committee in running social and team opportunities for all members, forming strong school club links with Lordswood Boys School and the school sports partnership and marketing all activities.
Experience of coaching groups and individuals, leading a tennis coaching programme and implementing good coaching methods are important but motivation and having excellent planning skills and ideas are essential. The potential for earnings depends on the capacity and ability of the successful individual or company.
