Tennisolutions is a Coaching Programme Provider Based in South Warwickshire and North Oxfordshire
The programmes we run involve 3 club programmes and 2 Senior Schools on a year round basis.
In total, our “school link” network covers approximately 20 primary schools and 3 preparatory schools with the vision of further expansion.
We are looking for the ideal candidate to have either a Coach (Club/Performance) or PTR Pro grade Qualification.
They should have a wide knowledge of Mini Tennis, and a good experience of working and developing club and school programmes, in addition experience in Performance programmes and working with talented players would be an added bonus.
Brief Job Description
A Head Club Coach is now required to work closely to the Director and be responsible for the delivery and development of all areas of tennis within the above programmes.
Responsible to: Tennisolutions Director
Standing: Full time position
Key Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for coaching performance players and various squads
- Management responsibility for 2 club programmes and schools network programme
- Coach a number of individual lessons to adults and juniors including performance players
- Take responsibility for organising and coaching mini tennis sessions
- Liaise with the Tennisolutions coaches and assist with the Internal and external tennis fixtures.
- Provide regular feedback to parents and write reports on performance squad tennis players.
Job Specification
- Coaching qualifications at Lawn Tennis Association Level 3.
- Successful experience of coaching tennis and working with children.
- Considerable coaching experience
- Strong knowledge of long-term player development
- Understanding of integrating successful sports’ performance programmes in to a club’s and schools educational environment.
- Outstanding communication skills in a variety of environments and media.
- Well-developed administrative and organisational skills.
