Wiltshire LTA is inviting all young tennis players in the county to enter this year’s County Championships.
This year’s Championships, kindly sponsored by Babolat UK, takes place from Monday 25th to Friday 29th August at Devizes Tennis Club with the Mini Red event on 27th and Mini Orange event on 26th indoors at Next Generation Swindon.
Wiltshire LTA Tennis Chairman, Roger Henry commented: “We are all eagerly looking forward to the 2014 County Championships at the end of August as these tournaments are a great opportunity for juniors of all standards to compete locally. I would like to encourage all junior players to enter this year’s County Championships via the LTA website"
The Wiltshire County Championships will offer singles and doubles matches for all Mini and Junior players and to enter please visit www.lta.org.uk/Competitions and enter the tournament code: WIL14S1146.
The closing date for entries is 4th August.
There will be PWP Sports Vouchers and medals for Yellow and Green ball Singles Winners and runner-ups and Mini Tennis goodies for all Mini Red and Orange entrants.
This year the winners of the 12U singles events will qualify for the Babolat Cup UK Tournament taking place in September at the Edgbaston Priory Club. Further details regarding the Babolat Cup UK Tournament can be found at www.babolatcup.co.uk .
