Serena Nash Acheives National Number One Ranking

It has been a great start to the summer season for Serena Nash after capturing the National Number 1 ranking position in the 16&Under age group.

Serena trains at Batley and Harrogate with Lee Wright alongside Calvin Betton as her lead coach who has traveled extensively with her. This has seen Serena taking part in events in Holland, Denmark, Belgium and Greece helping Serena to achieve an ITF ranking of 785.

Serena played at number 1 in the Aegon 18&Under County Cup team for Yorkshire in March, winning all her matches with out dropping a set, helping the county retain the title two years in a row.

Serena has also won two Grade 2s in Bath, the last one in February of this year. 

Serena's dedication to her tennis has seen her work with Sean Scantlebury who has implemented changes in Serena's diet and fitness program which has payed off.

Serena attends Immanuel College in Idle Bradford and is currently working hard towards her GCSEs.
