Fantastic weekend for Yorkshire Under 18s, with both the boys and girls teams winning all 3 of their matches in the 12 Counties Championship at Corby. All of the boys team (Paul Jubb, Conor Tordoff, Joseph Newman-Billington and Ying Hou) were undefeated on the day which was an incredible result.
The girls team (Megan Hopton, Sofie Woon, Bronte Murgett and Zoe Judkowski) were almost undefeated with only Megan losing an incredibly close match to the Cambridge number 1 player (losing 11-9 in the 3rd set tie break) and Zoe losing to her Herts counterpart.
Well played to all players, that result has catapulted Yorkshire into a good leading position in the overall Counties Championship standings.
