Marc McCarroll added the men's singles title to his men's doubles title in Cuneo after ending the ITF 3 Series tournament having beaten the top two seeded players.

After his second win in a week over Austrian top seed Martin Legner in the Alpi Del Mare semi-finals, British No. 2 and third seed McCarroll beat his doubles partner, second seed Tadeusz Kruzelnicki of Poland, 6-4, 6-3 to earn back-to-back titles on the NEC Tour after winning last week's Biel-Bienne Indoors.

Marc McCarroll secured his second win in a week over Austrian former world No. 3 Martin Legner to reach his second men's singles final in a week in Cuneo, while also partnering Tadeusz Kruszelnicki to win the men's doubles title.

The British No. 2 fought back after an indifferent second set to beat top seed and world No. 12 Legner 6-4, 3-6, 6-1 in his semi-final, having beaten Legner in last Sunday's final at the Biel-Bienne Indoors.

McCarroll later partnered Kruszelnicki to beat Laurent Giamartini of France and Legner in the men's doubles final as McCarroll claimed his second doubles title of 2013.

Marc McCarroll has reached Saturday's men's singles semi-finals in Cuneo after beating Switzerland's Daniel Pellegrina 6-2, 6-2 in the quarter-finals on Friday's second day of play.

The British No. 2 has dropped just five games in his two matches to date in the men's singles and is also into the men's doubles semi-finals after a comfortable 6-1, 6-1 quarter-final victory over Thomas Von Daeniken from Switzerland.

After winning the Biel-Bienne Indoors in Switzerland, Marc McCarroll bids for a second ITF 3 Series men's singles title in successive weeks this week in Cuneo, Italy.

The British No.2 is set to be among the four seeds again in Italy, with Austrian Martin Legner, the player McCarroll beat in the Biel-Bienne men's singles final, likely to be top seed for this week's tournament.
