Jamie Burdekin and Antony Cotterill will go-head-to-head in the quad singles quarter-finals in Pensacola after both recording straight sets wins against Canadian players in their first round matches.

Third seed Burdekin eased past Adrian Dieleman 6-0, 6-0 in his opening match, while Cotterill beat Gary Luker 7-6(5), 6-1 to ensure that there will be one Brit in the semi-finals later in the week.

But Adam Field was unable to make it a full house of wins for the Brits on the opening day in Florida and was beaten 6-2, 6-4 by American David Buck.

Field will now contest the quad consolation singles and will start the quad doubles as second seed alongside his American partner Greg Hasterok. Burdekin and Cotterill will also pair up for the quad doubles and could potentially meet Field and Hasterok in the semi-finals.
