The Clubmark award was presented by Berkshire's Tennis Development Manager Jo-Anne Downing to Kintbury Tennis Club's Chairman, Graeme Coulam and the team recently.
Clubmark was introduced by Sport England in 2002 and is currently being implemented across 34 sports. The LTA administers its own version of Clubmark based on the National guidelines for best practice combined with real life examples of successfully run places to play across the Country.
Obtaining Clubmark means that a place to play can demonstrate that they have a good Coaching and Competition structure in place, have recognised practices in place to safeguard members and are well managed with a vision for the Club in the future.
