Mens County Cup Report -
The men travelled to Hunstanton to compete in Group 3. The week started with the withdrawal, through injury, of James Ireland which was certainly a blow to our hopes. Despite this we achieved a great result by gaining promotion to Group 2, winning 4 out of 5 matches and finishing 2nd to East of Scotland. Neil Pauffley and Elliot Dimmock made there county week debuts and ...all team members made significant contributions. The other players were Andy Hamar, Robby Green, Marcus Willis, George Hedley, James Weeks and Hafeez Hameed.
The exciting news is that the Berkshire Men's Team have now achieved promotion in 3 of the last 4 years, rising from Group 5 to 2 in the process. An excellent achievement.

On a final note Marcus Willis and Andy Hamar finished the week as top pair of the tournament winning 13 out of 14 rubbers.
