The first week in August sees the launch of the new Berkshire Closed Challenge Cup, a week long singles tournament held in the evenings and weekends for Adults from the 1st to 9th August.
Each event will have a Challenge Cup to compete for on a finals day held at Bracknell Lawn Tennis Club.
Open to players affiliated to a club in Berkshire, it’s aimed at club players of any standard, but offering a first round against opponents of the same level
With a second consolation draw offering at least two matches for every player.
We are delighted to announce the Ladies event is sponsored by the Berkshire Company ‘Chocolate for Chocoholics’ based in Hurst, so that's some chocolates for every lady player.
And we are equally pleased the Men’s event is sponsored by Bradfield’s 'Tutts Clump Cider' ,offering 'proper' cider for the men.
