You may be aware that Halton Tennis Club is going to be hosting one of the Powder Byrne Trophy 2011 Grade 3 mini tennis qualifying events over the weekend of the 24/25th September. 8&U (Red Ball) and 9&U (Orange Ball) events are to be staged as one day tournaments in 16 locations across the UK, between 1st September and 31st October 2011, with a National final held at Bisham Abbey on the weekend of the 17/18th December 2011 for the winners of each qualifying tournament.
Entry is now open for 8&U and 9&U mini tennis regional events as part of the 2011 Powder Byrne Trophy.
Two additional events, under 8 and under 9 boys and girls, have been added for the first time following the popularity of the under 10 event in the Powder Byrne Junior Trophy in 2010.
