The finals of the Bucks Mixed Knock Out competition were played on Sunday 7 October at Stoke Park Club.
Halton (Helen Hales, Liberty Crawford, Callum McKinlay and Gavin McKinlay) retained the Senior Trophy defeating Great Missenden (Ellie Muir, Nicki Hartley, James Harley and Alex Hartley) who despite a very spirited attempt were unable to defeat a strong Halton team.
The Intermediate Cup was won for the first time by Iver Heath (Emma Cotterell, Shaughn Hall, Mark Watson, Steve Hall) defeating Great Missenden (Angela Jones, Kate Miller, Stuart Taylor, Mike Hartley) in a competitive and entertaining encounter.
Our thanks to The Stoke Park Club for their hospitality of the event which was well supported by spectators who were treated to an excellent afternoon of entertaining tennis.

Halton Tennis Centre hosted the Great Britain Under 13 Tennis Team for a session on the Royal Air Force Halton High Ropes, delivered by the RAF's Motivational Outreach Team. Helen Reesby, The National Girls Junior Coach, based at the National Tennis Centre, said "I would just like to say a huge thank you to Halton Tennis Centre for putting together a great day for our players - the girls were all absolutely buzzing on the way back to the NTC. The next morning we discussed what they had learnt from the afternoon and the feedback was extremely positive. This then enabled us to link the learning's from the day to their tennis development, which was a great tool in reinforcing key areas and also confidence building."
