The Bucks Youth Games Final took place at Bury Lawn School, Milton Keynes on Saturday 6th June. Over 40 children from four districts took part in the event, which comprised of girls and boys singles and doubles.
It was a very close fought contest, with Milton Keynes A team coming out on top winning all four of their matches. Aylesbury Vale and South Bucks were second and third respectively, with only one match separating them. Chiltern and Milton Keynes B team also put in gallant performances, with some excellent tennis being played by all took part.
Each team had been selected from a district talent ID session, hosted by one of the county Clubmark accredited clubs. The girls and boys selected received a further 5 weeks of tennis coaching in preparation for the final.
