Full-Time Club Coach and Social Tennis Co-ordinator at Corby, Northamptonshire

We are looking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic Coach to aid the growth of our club coaching programme. This would be an ideal position for someone looking to work within all aspects of a thriving club, with specific attention paid to co-ordinating and expanding our social tennis programme. The tennis club already has in place a comprehensive mini tennis programme, strong school links, Cardio Tennis and Tennis Xpress sessions, adult coaching, social sessions, as well as a rapidly expanding Performance Programme.
The candidate should ideally hold a level 3 qualification, although a strong Level 2 would be considered. The position would be to start on the 11th April 2016. Work would be on a self-employed status. This new and exciting position will come with approximately 18-20 hours of group coaching, not including individuals and any schools work undertaken. It would be expected for the Coach to quickly attain 30 hours of coaching per week if required.
We are a 14 court facility, with 8 indoor and 6 outdoor courts. We have LTA Performance Accreditation, along with Clubmark + and Tennis Foundation Places to Play status. We are looking to increase the amount of Adults playing socially at our club with a variety of different sessions being available for players of all abilities. This is where we are looking for you to create and establish new social opportunities for players and potential players in addition to what is already in place.
