BEAU SEJOUR LAUNCH NEW COMMUNITY PROGRAMME AT OPEN DAY

Coaches form SkillSet on the Island of Guernsey welcomed new people to tennis last weekend after running a large open day to promote their tennis coaching programme.

The team, led by Richard Smeed, are working with the LTA to accredit the Beau Sejour site as the Channel Islands’ first ever Beacon site. The Beacon site will be offering low cost and accessible coaching this summer to people on the island who are looking to play tennis for the first time, or get back into it.

Simon Johnson, Tennis Operations Manager said: “It’s great to see the team at SkillSet developing tennis in the community and we hope lots of new people playing tennis as a result.”
