Sarah Arnold, Claire Tresidder, India Rojano, Tamsin Sandy, Shannon Sandy, Emily Wicks and Amy Johns travel to Tunbridge wells for a few days competing at this summers County Cup.
Cornwalls Ladies played against Derbyshire on the first day and allthough they had a good day of competing they lost 5-4.
On the second day we played the winners from day one, Somerset. They had a strong team of very experienced players, all our matches were really enjoyable with some great tennis. Unfortunately, we lost the day 6-3.
Our last day saw us battle against a talented Lincolnshire team, we played some great tennis but unfortunately the Lincolnshire team were to strong and Cornwall lost the last day 6-3.
The final result meant that Cornwall got relegated this year, but the ladies had a memorable and really enjoyable weekend, with fantastic tennis. We are all looking forward to the change next summer from a few days back to a week.
