At the weekend under glorious sunshine Penzance Tennis Club held their 'Road to Wimbledon Competition'.
The HSBC Road to Wimbledon is an Event staged to encourage young players into sport and give 14U players the chance to take part in this special event.
This is a local and National competition played over 44 counties across the Country giving juniors the chance to play tennis and have a dream opportunity of playing at the home of Wimbledon Championships and meet Tim Henman the Ambassador for this event.

All four finalists will compete at the County Finals to be held at Heron Tennis Centre on the 17th June.
The winners of the County Finals will get the chance to go to the National finals staged at National Tennis Centre at Roehampton.
Last year saw Jason Hosken, Ben Lakeman, Kara Wong and Amy Johns of Penzance Tennis Club reach the County finals, with Amy Johns winning the County event and progressing through to the National finals at Wimbledon where she won the Girls Consolation event, a fantastic achievement.
