Boxing has boxercise, cycling has spin and now tennis has Cardio Tennis!
Ryde Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club have launched the all new Cardio Tennis programme at the club. The exciting new fitness trend involves playing tennis to music on a tennis court trying to burn as many calories as possible within the session, whether you are new to the game or an experienced match player Cardio Tennis is for you and your friends and family. A great way in to the sport or perhaps back in to the sport for those out there who haven’t played for a while.
The club hope that the sessions will encourage new people in to the club to try something new and create additional benefits for the membership. The coaches are also running Mini Fitness sessions for the younger players at the club which gives them the chance to work on their tennis fitness, make new friends and have lots of fun in a safe, friendly and healthy environment. Mini Fitness was started by Chris Hull at the Hampshire Club.
