The finalists have been announced for the UK coaching awards 2013 – supported by Gillette.
Tim Lord-Hopkins tennis apprentice at Bransbury park has been shortlisted as one of the finalists for the The Heather Crouch Young Coach of the Year. Tim has done a lot of work with the Portsmouth Pilot project and has been developing community tennis strongly over the last 2 years.
Awards are made following a public nominations process and decision by an expert judging panel. There are eight award categories for coaches and three for organisations in support of coaching, in addition to the overall title of UK Coach of the Year.
This year’s event will be held at the Montcalm Hotel, Marble Arch, London on 3 December.
