ALBANY TENNIS NEWS by Pat Sharp

Wednesday, May 01, 2019

Ten lucky members won a voucher for a one hour booking in the indoor court to celebrate the court's 25th birthday. The draw, organised by Membership Secretary Jan Gaskill, was drawn last Saturday with members having one free go. They had to be a 2019/2020 member. All winners have been informed.

The Mini Red session restarted last Saturday, with five new players added to the 12 o'clock session and eight regulars continuing at 1pm. Beginners are always welcome to come and try tennis with three free sessions. It is held in the indoor court, so bad weather doesn’t stop play, and we always have two coaches plus two assistants so the children are well looked after and have a lot of fun. If they like it, they are invited to become an Albany Mini Tennis member for just £85 per year which includes the Saturday coaching at no extra cost. For more details, contact me on 861497 or e-mail albanytennispr@manx.net.
