Do you want a chance to actually play at Wimbledon? If the answer is Yes? Then The HSBC Road to Wimbledon is definitely the competition for you to enter.
In 2014 players playing in their club or park at age 11-14 will need to be in a rating band of 10/9/8/7 as of 1 April 2014 (non rated players are welcome to sign up for a BTM & rating).
The winners of the first stage will go through to the County Finals and the 44 County winners & 4 wild cards will then go on to qualify for the National Finals, played in August at Wimbledon.
The NEW Regional stages will be for players 14 & under who are in rating band of 6 or higher i.e. 6/5/4/3 as of 1 June. Entries open for the Regional Stage on 1st June 2014. Entry will be on line on this link www.lta.org.uk/roadtowimbledon
Get your Club or School Coach or Tournament Organiser to fill out an entry form and return it by 31 January 2014 to Janice White, Kent LTA, Bromley Tennis Centre, Avebury Road, Orpington, Kent, BR6 9SA. Once a Club or School has entered the event, you will receive an easy Organiser’s guide pack on how to run your event.
