Kent Primary Schools Competition 2013 Orange and Green Boys Events were a big success

On Wednesday 5th June, 14 teams of 4 boys from a number of different schools around the County arrived at Bromley High School for the Kent Primary Schools Orange Competition.

Throughout the morning there was many close matches and some fantastic tennis being played. The players all thoroughly enjoyed themselves playing tennis in the lovely sunshine.

The final was between Highfield Junior School and Lady Joanna Thornhill Primary with Lady Joanna winning 4- 2.

In the afternoon a further 13 teams arrived from a variety of schools to compete in the Green competition.

We saw even more high quality tennis, with players winning by a single point in some matches. All players were a credit to their schools both off and on the court

Highfield Junior School 1 met Oak Lodge 1 in the final but this time Highfield Junior School emerged winners 4-2.

A big thank you goes to all the teachers & parents for supporting the event; we couldn’t have run the event without your help.
